What are Notes?

Notes are MGuides credits that let you complete more powered study guide questions and activities. You purchased a pack of 75, 200, 400, or 750 Notes, which will be added to your MGuides account.

The number of Notes used for each study guide depends on the length of the book and the number of questions included. As a general reference, a picture book study guide typically uses around 14–25 Notes, while longer chapter books may require more.

    How it Works

    The steps and methods on how you use our interactive guides can be customized and planned out however you like but here's a general method of how our students use our guides.

    Pick a book from our list that's carefully selected by our educators.

    If you own a paper copy of the book, great. If you don't, we have a link to purchase the book online. Therefore you can enjoy any book you like from the titles in our preselected library.

    Open the Course to the Book and Start Answering Questions.

    Once you've selected the book and read a chapter, you can proceed to open the course and start the Smiley Tutor window from inside the course player.

    Quiz for Each Chapter

    After the tutoring session in each chapter, you'll do a quiz to see how well you've learned!

    Look at the Progress Report After you're done!

    Parents and teachers can look at a progress report anytime! This way you'll know exactly how to help the student or see what else they need to work on.
