Challenge Problems

The problem with math is that children don't get enough challenging problems at school or at home. The easy part is always a breeze but when coupled with hard problems, many children give up by saying "it's too hard."

Developing Math Brain

There isn't only one way to do math. We couple our problems with competition style math problems. Even if your child isn't math centric, doing harder and more creative problems will make them more confident in school and improve grades.

We are coupled with licenses from Beast Academy and AOPS, the leaders in math curriculum. We will also take math challenge problems from different math competition platforms.

We will take the harder to understand topics from the math curriculum and help students understand where school cannot support more in depth analysis. Working out harder problems in a low stress environment helps students learn with ease so that they excel in topics in school.

There are many ways to come to solve math problems but knowing the strategies behind how to do problems faster and internalizing the "why" behind the math is important to excel. We'll help with understanding the most efficient ways to solve problems.

Beast and AOPS classes online concentrate on the entire curriculum. They read the comics and the lessons but rarely have time to do a lot of star problems in class. We are the perfect complement to your home studies or their class studies where we concentrate on the hard problems 90% of the time.

English is the universal language in math and so it's important to know the English version. However, since we're pros in Chinese, it's uber cool to learn the Chinese terms too so you're a savvy bilingual math geek.

Pretty hard but having said that, we feel we can foster any child into a math child. It's about methods and practice and keeping it relevant. We will take foundations, challenge problems from a multitude of competition math level books. However, we will also build the foundations of how to get there.
