Welcome to July's Summer Science Lab! Get ready to put the laws of physics to the ultimate test! In our "Physics Engineering" module, students will transform into mechanical engineers to build working machineries from scratch. We will explore the principles of force, friction, air pressure, and energy by designing our very own gliding CD hovercrafts and tension-powered popsicle stick catapults! Every class is packed with active learning, exciting test-launches, and engaging Socratic discussions.

What to Expect in Class

Each week, we alternate between deep-dive Concept Classes and hands-on Lab Sessions! Your child will not only explore fascinating science topics and conduct their own messy experiments, but they will also learn these core science concepts entirely in Chinese. We focus on building essential STEM vocabulary suitable for elementary and middle school students—all while ensuring they have an absolute blast. Come join the fun!

Creative Language Use:

Students compose sentences, craft short responses, and participate in comprehension conversations that build confidence and fluency.

Daily Writing Practice:

We read and teach fully in Traditional Chinese, with full support for Simplified Chinese, especially when children write. All teachers are trained in both systems.

In our Foundations weekend classes, students learn both Simplified and Traditional in a structured approach.
