SCIENCE LAB 1 Beginner/Lower (6/1-6/28) Mon 10AM / 3PM / 6PM PST

Welcome to June's Summer Science Lab! This month, we are diving deep into the microscopic world to uncover the fundamental building blocks of life! During our "Biology Basics" module, students will become geneticists and cellular biologists. They will unlock the secrets of living organisms, extract actual visible DNA strands from fresh strawberries, and engineer highly accurate—and completely edible—3D models of plant cells! Every class is packed with active learning, exciting take-home projects, and engaging Socratic discussions.

What to Expect in Class

Each week, we alternate between deep-dive Concept Classes and hands-on Lab Sessions! Your child will not only explore fascinating science topics and conduct their own messy experiments, but they will also learn these core science concepts entirely in Chinese. We focus on building essential STEM vocabulary suitable for elementary and middle school students—all while ensuring they have an absolute blast. Come join the fun!

Creative Language Use:

Students compose sentences, craft short responses, and participate in comprehension conversations that build confidence and fluency.

Daily Writing Practice:

We read and teach fully in Traditional Chinese, with full support for Simplified Chinese, especially when children write. All teachers are trained in both systems.

In our Foundations weekend classes, students learn both Simplified and Traditional in a structured approach.
