Welcome to August's Summer Science Lab!This month, we are diving deep into Chemistry and Epic Reactions. Our classes are designed to be dynamic and highly interactive. Each week, we intentionally alternate our focus to keep young scientists completely engaged. On concept weeks, we dive into the "why" and "how" of amazing scientific principles. On lab weeks, we roll up our sleeves and perform thrilling, hands-on experiments using common household materials so your children can see those concepts come to life!

What to Expect in Class

This program offers a truly unique educational edge: children will learn incredible scientific concepts and core, grade-level vocabulary in Chinese! Tailored specifically for students with elementary and middle school reading levels, this immersive approach builds dual-language proficiency while exploring the wonders of the natural world. Shared Reading

As stories unfold, students pause to unpack new terms, images, and ideas. They discuss meanings, connect concepts to their own experiences, and learn how native speakers express themselves.

Creative Language Use:

Students compose sentences, craft short responses, and participate in comprehension conversations that build confidence and fluency.

Daily Writing Practice:

We read and teach fully in Traditional Chinese, with full support for Simplified Chinese, especially when children write. All teachers are trained in both systems.

In our Foundations weekend classes, students learn both Simplified and Traditional in a structured approach.
